Excalibur dehydrators are so noisy, I rarely used mine. I don’t think it ever really worked that well either. The fan still blows although I began to notice that the fan speeds up for awhile then slows down. So all along the motor was working right. I attempted to replace the motor but it still does the same thing and Excalibur is saying there’s no way their motors could be defective. I am currently looking for another brand to purchase.
